What we do
At CCIW, we've found that there are five activities which God particularly uses to grow us more and more into his fully devoted children. All our church activities and programs are designed to encourage and facilitate these "means of grace".
- Fundamental to our vision is Corporate Worship, gathering for Sunday Services currently at two of our beautiful and historic sites - St Johns Ashfield and St Albans Five Dock.
- The experience of deep Christian fellowship, especially in the context of small group mini-communities, where we know others and are known by them is also key to our life.
- Alongside Sundays and small groups, we encourage and resource people to develop and sustain a rich personal devotional life of Bible reading, prayer and other spiritual disciplines.
- One of the blessings of being a Christian is be gifted by God to serve in ministry, often as part of a ministry team, playing your part in building the life of the church.
- And finally, the Great Commission of Jesus is to make disciples of all people by extending to them a gracious witness to the work of God in the death and resurrection of Christ.
