Inaugural We Heart Five Dock Festival

St Alban’s Anglican church in Five Dock is preparing to host Sydney’s newest community festival.

The week-long ‘We ♥ Five Dock Festival’ runs from Monday 4 April to Sunday 10 April and features a diverse range of community events.

“This is an exciting new moment for us as a church” explains St Alban’s pastor Matt Steele.

“We love the Five Dock community and are looking forward to hosting the festival and inviting local residents to join us in celebrating life in this beautiful place!”

With a terrific and varied line up of events Matt believes Five Dock residents have every reason to be excited about this new venture.

“We’ve tried to develop a festival program that features something for everyone,” explains Matt.  “Highlights of the festival include a free carwash, chocolate tasting, kids’ soccer clinic, Easter hat making workshop, family-friendly outdoor cinema and a community carnivale.”

The We ♥ Five Dock Festival program is below.  All events are held on the grounds of St Alban’s church (171 Great North Road Five Dock) unless otherwise indicated.  More information is available on the church’s website - www.cciw.org.au.
