At CCIW we want to help people who are struggling financially to find long-term solutions.
Our Real Help drop-in centre offers a helping hand for people in the Inner West. Real Help runs 5.30 - 7.00pm Wednesday evenings, at the St Alban's Parish Centre, 16 East St Five Dock.
In partnership with the National Australia Bank and the Good Shepherd Association, we can lend up to $1200 to residents of Ashfield, Haberfield and Five Dock for essential household goods such as furniture and appliances.
CAP Money is a revolutionary money management course that teaches budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based money management system that really works.
If you are in an emergency and need some groceries to get by for a day or so, we often have some stocks of kitchen essentials as well as a small amount of supermarket vouchers to help out.
We can't offer everything, but we do know some other really good organisations that can help with emergency accommodation, long term housing, employment and dealing with addictions. We are happy to help you make some calls, fill out a form or search the web.
Drop in any Wednesday night and we'll be pleased to answer any questions.
